USA Export model Lightning in very good original condition. Low miles, unmolested.

This very well preserved Lightning has kept all her important original parts including Jones/Dunlop rims, lovely export fuel tank, levers, bars, instruments and even down to the untouched fittings which have survived due to low use and clearly a lack of wet weather. The tank and sidepanels have been painted and the tank needs doing again really. A high quality paint job on tank and side panels would lift the condition of this Lightning to nearly concours with some cleaning and detailed refurbishment. No replacement  parts needed though, the chrome is excellent and very little evidence of wear or abuse. The engine is sweet running and easy to start, performing well with no undue smoke or noise (unusually for an A65) and the riding position and suspension is comfortable for our potholed roads. Recently imported and fully road legal in the UK, registered with a correct age related plate.
