Proven Long Distance Trials machine now running well, could be tidied.

UK registered with V5C but no other paperwork, non-matching numbers with a 1958 engine in a 1957 frame. Completed the Lands End LDT relatively recently, stored for a while and just recommissioned with a top-end rebuild although everything was found to be satisfactory. I ran it around the woods at a local trials centre recently and it performed well enough for Long Distance Trials where there is a mix of road work and easy trails. If you were going to do more serious off-roading with it you would need more ground clearance and lower gearing. So it’s a road bike with an off-road leaning and it could be improved cosmetically as you can see, although it does have a certain “look” which makes it a worthwhile project. Everything works now including the brakes and lights and it’s charging so all systems go.
