Lovely matching numbers tele-rigid 350 twin in fine fettle.

One of the first off the 1946 production line; this matching numbers tele-rigid 3T is indeed in fine fettle. Lovely patina, looks like an earlier restoration of high quality which has worn well over the years and now looking old again without looking tired. The pinstriping on the tank could do with touching up rather than re-painting the whole bike so while the tank is off to re-route the wayward oil pipe to it’s correct position we will have a hand pinstriping artist restore the lines and complete the picture. The broken cylinder fin is easily repaired and we may do this but it seems a shame to disturb an well settled engine. This bike has already undergone some detail tidying and a little tune-up in the workshop has it running even better now, so the new owner won’t be disappointed with this little gem when they take delivery and take a ride. There is a handbook and manual in the document file, along with the V5C, parts of an old V5 document but no RF60, a note from the TOMCC machine registrar confirming it’s an early example and the odd article on 3Ts but not much else in the way of history. Low owners suggest a very long single ownership two-owners prior to the last one. Original Dunlop rims as you can see, tank panel instruments all work, she’s charging, starts easily and runs without undue smoke or noise. You can hear the timing gears but that’s a feature of these early models.
