A nice original MAC; smooth quiet engine and good looks.

Mid-fifties Velocette 350cc singles don’t come much nicer than this little MAC. Looking smart with new rims and exhaust system but displaying an attracive aged patina in some of the paintwork, this is a good honest example of a fine machine. The tank is solid and unlined inside, nice older paintwork outside which has been touched up in places. Seat and tinware is smart and mostly original by the looks of it. Everything works well, starts easily and clutch properly adjusted, good cables and all round fine fettle. Not covered many miles recently due to an elderly owner who was unable to ride but appreciated having such a fine example of one of the bikes of his youth. It has had a lot of recent service attention preparing it for sale, and it sounds mechanically excellent, starting and idling easily, making all the right noises although there is a little smoke and oily exhaust often associated with a worn engine. V5C is correct, believed to be matching numbers (but not checked) and original registration (which is transferable but please don’t). There is a collection of old MOTs from 1983 and the bike was re-registerd in 1980 suggesting a restoration/rebuild around that time, but nothing documented before that. An owners manual and some other books are on file too. A very smart machine, a joy to ride and behold.
