Yamaha RD250E

First registered in January 1979, this matching 1A2 numbers Yammy has been restored to an excellent standard, although certainly not concours. It's all been done; engine and cosmetics; so this bike should offer a relatively risk free riding proposition to anyone wishing to relive their youth or experience what they missed. The engine has apparently been rebuilt bottom and top by the owner before last, although their is no documentation to support this. Easy starting, smooth and clean running suggest this is the case and it's only just been run in by the previous owner. Cosmetically you can see the paint and chrome are all excellent, but look closely at the tank and you can see the odd ripple and the underside of the right tank decal is lifting slightly, the new seat is marked slightly on top and some pitting on the frame prior to powder coating is visible. Some of the nuts and bolts are non-standard too, but all the hard work has been done and she's ready to enjoy and/or tinker with the details if you are so inclined.
