Iconic 888 Superbike in excellent condition. Only 300 made in 1994 and 910 in total so very rare.

This is a fine example of the sought after 888 Strada Superbike; one of the last ones made and in lovely original condition. The Pierre Terblanche styling, silver frame and black wheels give it the look, and the water-cooled engine gives it the legs lacking on some of the earlier bikes. Classic mix of old and new. The bike comes with a good service history, 24,000 miles on the clock and a collection of old MOTs which support the recorded mileage. Excellent service history with lots of recent work, previously sold by CSB and comes from a reputable collector of classic Ducatis. Sounds very sweet indeed if you like it loud! This very machine is featured in the August 2012 issue of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics and they were smitten by it. It’s hardly turned a wheel since then, but it has had a new battery and sprag clutch to ensure first time starting on the button. A copy of the mag is on file along with all the other paperwork.
