Absolutely ludicrous spec on this machine. An unusual Clubman spec 500 Bullet been built with more than money; it’s taken the time and attention of someone who knows and loves (and we believe used to race) Royal Enfield singles. It’s very well documented, the list of parts used in the build is extensive and the result is superb and not what you’re used to from a humble 2002 Bullet. Currently fitted with the touring handlebars, there is a box of parts including clip-ons for the racer in you but it rides so well as it is that we’ve left it in “relaxed mode”. Performance is brisk and it really does sound like a Goldie with that exhaust giving the distinctive “twitter” on the overrun. Not many miles since the build, fettled to perfection recently at Classic Bike Workshop and currently on loan to our good friend and Accountant Steve. It might never come back! Loadsa fun.
