Just arrived, matching numbers Venom in stunning condition and running well. Still registered on the original number too! Very clean indeed and recent service work recorded includes; in addition to regular oil changes; new petrol taps, new monobloc carburettor and new tyres fitted in June 2022 and hardly used since. In 2023 a blowing head gasket was addressed by a complete top end rebuild which included a professional weld repair to the cylinder head to eliminate porosity common to these. The repair was milled back to standard (there are pictures) and the top end rebuilt with an extra base gasket to soften the engine characteristics and aid easy kick starting. I can report that it worked. In 2024 the clutch was rebuilt with a new new parts, again by a professional who is named on the paperwork. Just checked over by Classic Bike Workshop and now the ignition timing is in the right place and everything adjusted after a road test we’re happy to report that it is ready to be ridden! In fact it is just what’s needed we think. A really lovely 500cc single which starts easily and behaves impeccably on the road.
