In stock now, this is a super-rare UK registered from new in 1995 machine, MG2 0041 looks like the second production run of only 50 but a little more research will confirm this. There is good information out there if you look. In excellent original unrestored condition, little used in recent years but regularly started and well kept. Engine and frame numbers are factory stamps and correct – this is a very rare bike. Classic Bike Workshop have just completed a thorough service and assessment, passing it fit for a new MOT and returning to the road with a new owner on board. The service work included new cam belts and fuel system refurbishment including new fuel filter and fuel hoses all-round. Injectors then balanced as you can see in the video. Valve clearances checked and adjusted, oil filter changed and engine filled with the best fully synthetic 20/50 money can buy, Gear box and bevel oils checked and replenished, lots of little checks and improvements all detailed in comprehensive workshop notes and invoice on file. And pictures. Three owners from new and you can see the mileage. Not ridden yet but you can see it is running well in the workshop. Actually we may not put fuel in the tank until we have to. Deserves new tyres but nothing more to do and tyres are a personal choice so we haven’t done them (they are perfectly legal but oldish and the rear profile is squared with wear). What a lovely and unusual machine.
