We’re having lots of fun with this! Clearly restored to display and will be sold with some recommissioning still to do but we are determined to have it running before letting it go to a new owner. The engine appears to have been in running order; certainly has run since being rebuilt (presumably – we’ll find out soon enough) but most of the bike has been restored and assembled to show and it certainly hasn’t turned a wheel in the last 20 years since it was last sold. Worth noting a crack in the rear arm which has been blatantly painted over without welding or even filling – well it’s honest at least! We’ve had the Dixie magneto rebuilt and we have good sparks, the clutch and gearbox have been overhauled by Classic Bike Workshop and work well but we will probably stop when we have a running engine. Unregistered and frankly it would be dangerous on the road but it is a beautiful beast and you can see the numbers look genuine and unmolested. A bit of research to do on those and will update this with any information that is forthcoming.
