A rare model in itself, even rarer in this condition with so many original parts surviving to give us an accurate idea of just what an attractive and practical machine the CS was in 1952. All matching numbers and showing the genuine mileage (due to a long period in storage) the provenance of this particular bike is exceptionally good. Great history and documentation, presented in fine mechanical fettle now Classic Bike Workshop have had their wonderful way with her, it really is all the bike you will ever need for gentle back lanes and trails. It’s a serious Long Distance Trials machine of course and could be used as such but in this condition with so many unique features preserved as they are it’s more likely to be winning shows than trials we think. The easy starting and relatively light weight combined with low seat height make it an attractive buy for anyone looking for a rare model with head-turning looks and a relaxed classic bike ownership experience.
