BMW R100 GS
Rare Dakar GS in scruffy condition but unmolested and very very cool.
Imported from Germany in 2004, this excellent example of the rare mono-lever R100GS is in lovely, largely original but slightly scruffy condition. The carbs might benefit from cleaning and setting up but she runs well. The rear mudguard is cracked and some of the paintwork has been poorly touched up to note a couple of potential improvements. Recorded mileage is only 1,278 km so it’s been around the clock; 100,000 kilometers is only 60,000 miles and condition is commensurate with this. Engine runs very strongly, no smoke as you would expect with one of these boxer twins. Pannier frames and rear carrier fitted but no panniers with it. One key fits all locks, and there are two keys. Not a lot of documentation but V5C in order, all numbers correct. Great value at this price, the GS PD (Paris Dakar) model is a fast appreciating classic and with some light restoration this bike could soon be worth twice what you can buy it for now.
