UK bike, one owner from new in 1998, Full Service History. That’s rare and it’s as good under the fairings as it looks from the outside so this is clearly a machine that has been well looked after by a loving owner. 38k miles isn’t the lowest mileage example you’ll find but get over that and it’s all good news, in fact it may be one of the best examples you’ll find anywhere. There has been sympathetic refinishing over the years rather than a full restoration so most of what you see is original Ducati. The wheels have been refinished but the engine paint hasn’t and it’s in remarkably good condition. Mechanically quiet and smoke-free, starts instantly and performs flawlessly; again testimony to a charmed and cherished life. The small fairing damage you can see on the right has been professionally repaired and the bike will be sold without the cosmetic damage you can see there. Chain & sprockets are in excellent condition, you could treat it to new tyres but they are perfectly serviceable if you’re not going to ride it hard, nothing much to do except ride it, enjoy it and hopefully look after it as well as the first and only owner from new. This is exactly what we look for in a used classic; an honest example wearing the miles well with a nice collection of paperwork.
