Completely restored to show standard, UK registered and ready to ride.

One of the last of the iconic Airone Sport models produced, this machine has been completely restored by a Marque Specialist for a private collector. Just registered with a correct age related number in the UK and ready to ride or show. You can see it’s a quality restoration and it starts easily, sounds mechanically new as you would expect and will need running in gently at first.
This machine was manufactured in November 1954 and first registered in Italy in 1955. Unusually interesting with a good early history; the Italian registration book tells us it was first registered in Genoa with the number GE-38843 before being licensed further down the west coast in the province of La Spezia in July 1969 with the number SP-29220. In March 2007 it was purchased by an American gentleman for use at his home near Lake Garda, as he had owned one during his time at an Italian University. He promptly commissioned it’s restoration by a specialist in Ceva, who also rebuilt the engine. The attention to detail speaks for itself, as you can see by the hand painted lines which are clearly the art of an experienced coach painter. The bike comes with all the original Italian registration, owners and insurance documents and a V5C.
