A very well preserved UK MkII 850 LeMans in excellent mechanical order.

Due back into stock soon having had some cosmetic improvements. First registered in the UK on 14th March 1980, with very few owners and circa 30k miles covered since, this is a fine example of Guzzi’s 850cc sports v-twin. What we like about this bike is that it has been owned and ridden by responsible and mechanically competent owners so it all works properly. The last two owners were known to each other and the previous owner had it for 15 years and you can tell it’s been looked after. The bike starts instantly on the button, idles smoothly, pulls strongly and handles perfectly on the road. Little details like spare bulbs and cables under the seat and side panel attest to the care and attention this bike has had. No smoke or nasty noises from the engine, in fact it’s one of the best we’ve heard, recent paint to original spec and a high standard of finish and a good solid exhaust system in matt black just as it should be. There isn’t much in the history file but notes confirm the speedo has been changed twice (one old one is with it) and suggest true mileage in the region of 30,000, and the V5C confirms correct numbers and only four former keepers. One old MOT certificate and a new one expiring 21/06/2014, a copy of the old V5C confirming previous ownership and a few other related documents are on file. No tools or riders manual with this machine but they are easily sourced.
