The first true Sports Moped to arrive in the UK as I remember it, some of my friends’ older brothers had this one before the Fizzies and APs came out, and way before the Italian invasion with the Fantics and Malagutis. It came after the pedlendary Maxi and paved the way for the M50 and the Grand Prix of course, how could we ever forget Puch mopeds?
This little gem is a matching numbers UK model in excellent original condition and specification throughout. I have been looking for ages for one like this and they are few and far between. This actual machine was featured in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics magazine no 383 September 2019 and I was lucky enough to buy it from the owner of that time at the Stafford Show a few years later. We have fitted some new parts and improved it somewhat, I’d ride it anywhere now and it looks lovely without being a show-winner. Priced a little on the high side to keep it here in the moped collection but if you had one and want to re-live those marvellous moped memories you will struggle to find a better one and you’re welcome to give this one a new home. We’ll miss it though.
