Another rare bike, an unusual example of the classic big single and all the more attractive for that. This Rudge Special was rebuilt and restored over a number of years to a high standard, the mechanical restoration and final finishing all completed by Classic Bike Workshop in 2017 and the bike has been unused since then so will require some running-in. The pictures and video you see here were taken when the bike was with us in 2017 and although storage conditions were good there has been some degradation in condition which can be shown in later pictures available on request. The registration process on an age-related plate was almost complete at the time and will be completed for the new owner.

This machine is one of a cherished collection of motorcycles owned, fettled and ridden by a local gentleman, sadly now departed. I personally rode with him on classic runs and always admired his machines and the man himself, so proud to have the privilege of finding new homes for his classic bikes. In this case the bike will be sold fully recommissioned by Classic Bike Workshop regardless of cost and presented to the new owner in beautiful clean working condition inside and out, ready to ride and show with the best out there.
