Triumph 955i Daytona
4,125 miles and three owners from new. Restored to better than original condition with care and attention after years in storage.
There is a good chance that Cyril will gain a reputation for superb restorations if he applies this level of attention to some older bikes. This machine had been stored for years under cover; you may have seen it for sale here before as a restoration project; and had suffered cosmetically. Following a complete nut and bolt (mostly new) rebuild which included powder coating the frame satin black, the wheels gloss black and replacing many old parts with new, the bike is now running perfectly after receiving the latest engine updates from a reputable Triumph dealer. Non-standard items such as the Gilles rear sets improve the riding experience, and the original footrests are with it; powder coated to match. The long list of new parts include new brake calliper pistons, braided brake lines and Michelin tyres. A Datatool alarm is fitted (can’t all be good news). The V5 registration document, all manuals, keys, service book stamped up and old MOTs and Tax Discs are in the file along with many receipts, parts and a purchase invoice from Jack Lilley motorcycles who supplied the machine. Fueling is a bit fluffy low down but will improve with use.
