Triumph Daytona Super III
The rare Triumph/Cosworth limited edition special presented in superb standard condition, decommissioned a while ago and offered for sale as museum quality investment grade stock. Having said that we can recommission this machine for road use if so desired; there will be a charge; and as we know it was running perfectly four years ago when the carbs were drained for storage it shouldn’t be much more than a standard service to bring the record up to date. 20k miles is nothing on these engines but there are ten former keepers on the V5C so it’s not exactly a low owners example. The owners manual and service manual (six stamps up to 14k miles) are on file along with spyball alarm system key fobs (the alarm has been disabled). There is a significant collection of old MOTs supporting the recorded mileage and many service invoices providing a good service history. There is also a letter from Triumph in answer to a query by a former owner, confirming that only 300 Super IIIs were produced per year from 1994-1996; a total production of only 600 machines; which explains why this machine is so rarely seen on the road.
