Triumph Daytona Super III
A genuinely rare emerging classic with provenance, priced to attract investment buyers or riders alike! One owner and less than 22k miles from new. Just had almost £2,000 worth of recommissioning and service work including complete carburettor rebuilds using genuine Triumph parts, perfectly tuned and balanced, ECU checked and approved, valve service, oils, fluids and filters of course. No stone left unturned to get this running exactly like it should. They only made 805 of these Cosworth special editions so it’s a rare bike. This UK machine comes with good ownership and service history and sold with a very recent MOT certificate. All the distinguishing carbon parts are present and correct, good documentation and two original keys. Low mileage and owners for a 25 year-old bike with 22k miles on the clock. The usual cosmetic deterioration on these models is less apparent on this one although it’s not perfect or “concours’ condition. There is some (but less than usual) loss of black engine paint and some light crazing to the right side fairing panel, along with a slightly marked right silencer trim which would suggest a stationary drop on that side at some time in the past. Datatagged with security numbers all over it suggest it’s made up of original parts and if they were fitted with an alarm (I think they were) it has been removed very tidily which is more good news. All round looks feels and sounds like a good honest example of this rare and appreciating early Hinckley triple.
