Returning to stock soon. One of the first iconic Speed Triples in black. Recently recommissioned by Classic Bike Workshop and passed an MOT test with no advisories. This machine was purchased from a private collection after having some restorative work by a Hinckley model specialist. The last owner has ridden the bike and Classic Bike Workshop have serviced it. The carburettors have been rebuilt with new parts and gaskets and balanced since this video was taken so it’s even smoother now, starts instantly and idles perfectly with very little mechanical noise suggesting a well-serviced life. Indeed, the document file contains a full service history stamped in the Service Record book and this, along with a collection of MOTs and invoices, shows the recorded 36k miles to be correct. The original owner’s handbook and wallet are also on file so it’s a nice all-round example of the iconic early Speed Triple.
