This one owner, very low mileage Hinckley Bonnie is available from stock now, having been owned by one of our lovely customers from new. He says this about the bike… “Unfortunately I am going to have to give up riding motorbikes and I need to sell my Triumph Bonneville.  I bought the Triumph brand new on the 10th April 2001.  The bike is red and silver and it has only done 15,382 miles.  It was regularly serviced with Jack Lilley until I moved to Cornwall.  It is fitted with sports exhausts from new and I do still have the originals.  I also have every single MOT.  It hasn’t been used much in recent years because I had other bikes although it does run well.”

This lovely example of Hinckley’s early twin cylinder roadster is now in stock at CSB and has been checked over by Classic Bike Workshop, just MOTd and ready to ride. We didn’t find much to do on this one, just cleaned the carbs and richened the mixture a little (they are often set up lean) to which it has responded well. The biggest job was cleaning it and again it has responded well to the attention given; the thing about bikes that have been ridden more than cleaned is they wear their paint and chrome well under the grime. Hard to believe this is 23 years old but it is. Mechanically excellent with performance and handling to match, it is lovely on the road. Downsides on these early models is quality of chrome on the rims and paint on the engine. This isn’t immune to those weaknesses but it is better than most as you can see.
