Triumph Thunderbird
Sprung Hub pre-unit Triumphs don’t come much prettier than this 1952 beauty.
Matching numbers, original registration which is transferable, a good file of documents including old MOTs, V5Cs, V5 and old log book! An older restoration, hardly used since but recently recommissioned and running very nicely. A well specified machine with original SU carburettor adding interest and reliability. The colour might not be absolutely correct but it’s very nicely done and has developed a very “original” patina over time which puts new shiny paint jobs in their place. Details like the hand painted registration numbers and lovely old seat set this machine apart from most restorations and give it a character rarely found on a restored bike. Since these pictures and video were taken the battery box has been replaced with the correct fitting item and the engine has been quietened down on the primary drive side after some fettling in the workshop. Just lovely.
