This lovely little machine was found in France by a retired motorcycle engineer and completely restored.

Alcyon were a significant French manufacturer but very rare finds now, particularly in the UK. The condition of the bike was “barnfind” poor, but it was complete and was brought back to England to be restored by the finder. The engine was completely rebuilt and there are receipts on file for various engine parts including new bearings and crankshaft refurbishment. Rebuilt wheels, new tyres and tubes, wheel bearings cables, chain and transfers are all evident, and the paintwork is of a good standard. There are pictures of the newly chromed components on file, which confirm the originality of most of the parts used in the restoration. The bike bears French registration plates but has no documentation. Classic Bike Workshop did some magneto and other work, the bike runs well and lights are working ready for the road! UK registration will still need to be applied for, unless an overseas buyer has it before it before the application is made.
