To say this machine comes from a good home is a huge understatement. If you are looking for a cosmetically and mechanically excellent example of the iconic Fastback Commando you’ve just found the one to have. It’s one of Gerry’s Commandos and he hardly ever sells one. Bought as a concours restored machine a good few years ago now, those of us who have been lucky enough to try it have fallen in love with it. Although it hasn’t done much more than a thousand miles since the complete rebuild and restoration it has given trouble-free performance that we hold as a benchmark for a good Commando. It really is in that sweet-spot of mechanical and cosmetic condition; new enough to look and feel special and at the same time ridden enough to have settled down and proved reliable. Currently fitted with a steel replica tank, the original fiberglass tank comes with it. These are new pictures and video so what you see is what you get and with this very competitive price you really are getting a lot for your money with this thoroughly excellent machine.
