Rare and advanced four-stroke single ‘Guzzi, completely rebuilt and restored.

Can you believe this spec for a 1958 “scooter”? Four stroke single cylinder 110cc engine; just like the Airone and Falcone works of art but hidden. Single-sided rear suspension allowing quick-change and interchangeable wheels; front to back, with a spare wheel and tyre carried on the front (the front end does feel planted at extreme lean angles even if the whole plot feels quite dangerous). Fully faired for speed and wind protection; it works too. This lovely little Galetto has been restored from the engine up; every nut and bolt; and there is a stack of paperwork to prove how much work was done. Since the rebuild it was used regularly for IoM trips and there are pictures of it on the Island on file, then recently it’s been part of a collection of unusual Italian motorcycles but rarely used. We had a trip out on it in the Summer and enjoyed it on a classic bike run. It’s a lovely thing. Lots of fun as long as you don’t go too fast on it!
