Sweet running low mileage TT Special for restoration.

All the hard work has been done, engine serviced with new cam belt, oils and filter, carb cleaned, rebuilt with new gaskets and accelerator pump diaghram and set-up as you can hear. Starts on the button or kick-start lever easily. It’s a rare TT Special with extra catch-tanks, race fairing and QD seat unit and that gorgeous twin TT exhaust system. It’s worth more than we’re asking in parts alone and it’s a really low mileage machine. UK registration is a formality and we’ll walk through the process with you, we have all the documents and it’s on the NOVA database so all admin boxes ticked.
Restoration work to do, apart from the obvious cosmetics… Fuel tank is rusty inside so needs treating, sealing and painting on the outside, as does everything else except the frame. Wheels always go pink and easily/cheaply blasted, powder coated and treated to new bearings. The brakes all work but may need servicing and bleeding, new master cylinder and hoses on the rear. Electrics all work, will pass an MOT with new tyres or may even get one without for registration purposes but you wouldn’t ride on these. Front forks worth mentioning, they will need re-chroming as the pitting is too bad to ignore. The rest speaks for itself, has the potential to be a very special TT Special. Video is in the workshop from auxilliary tank as we weren’t going to put rusty fuel in that lovely clean carb!
