A standard 1995 Ducati 916 in original unrestored condition with a Ducati dealer service history, all the documents and keys including the original Jack Lilley Ltd sales invoice from new dated 02/10/1995. The good news doesn’t stop there…two owners from new (1 former keeper on the V5C) and only 4,181 miles from new! And; as it that wasn’t enough provenance; this very machine, identifiable by its registration number, features at the front in a huge double page spread and in a four-page detail feature in the definitive visual history “The Motor Bike Book” published by DK in 2012. A copy of this beautiful coffee-table book is included with all the paperwork with the bike. The document file is comprehensive. Service history is complete with Ducati dealers until a recent lay-off, since when it has been recommissioned and serviced by our very own Classic Bike Workshop in consultation with and using genuine Ducati parts from the same dealer who serviced it before. This recent work included a complete overhaul of the fuel system with a new fuel pump, filter and all the hoses and connections inside the fuel tank. New cam belts, oils and filters of course, this bike is ready to ride and show as a prime example of Ducatis iconic 916. Resplendent in the earlier “Cagiva” graphics and adorned with elephant logos as all the earlier models were, the low mileage shows in condition and this machine really does bear close inspection. Engine case paint is good, original exhausts look like new and it sounds so very sweet.
