Rare future Italian classic in the true Moto Morini tradition. Stunning.

A genuine hand built Corsaro Avio, first sold and registered in the UK in 2008 during the two years of production of this very rare motorcycle. Powered by an 1187 cc Bialbero CorsaCorta 87° V twin-cylinder engine developing 117 bhp at 8500 rpm, and 123 N·m (91 lb·ft) at 6,500 rpm. The engine was designed by Franco Lambertini, who was the young engineer responsible for the “3½” model in the 1970s and uses many of the same excellent technical innovations including the Heron Head design. Stying is classic Italian naked roadster (much too pretty to be called a streetfighter), combined with light weight and sports bike performance. Moto Morini are producing machines directly to order now, with a dealer service network, so it’s a practical ownership proposition like very few hand built motorcycles.

This machine has only had two UK owners and covered 6,785 miles from new with a full service history (Three Cross and Riders of Bridgewater). The last service at 6,554 miles included valve shimming and the invoice for £800 is on file along with fully stamped up service book, owners manual, two sets of keys including masters, MOTs and HPI report. There is a Meta alarm which actually lets you move the bike around without bleeping and a very high quality protective tank cover as you can see fitted in one picture. Looks lovely doesn’t it? Oh; by the way; it’s bonkers. 117 horsepower lightweight v-twin is a recipe for fun.
