Rare and correct, NOT a replica. A benchmark machine.

A real TT Special. Fresh from the workshop after recommissioning and tuning, it’s running perfectly as you can see and hear from the video. I can tell you it’s all good news on the originality front; very well restored using correct parts. Engine and frame numbers correct and unmolested, original energy transfer ignition working perfectly with new points and coils. Original Dunlop rims front and rear beautifully re-chromed, restored with absolute respect to the standard specification of this genuinely rare model. Huge compression, correct reverse tacho and direct drive, so many little details are as they should be on this machine. Letters on file from VMC and T120TTspecial.com confirm the following: “Despatched on 14/04/1964 to TriCor …built in the fourth batch of TT Specials. There were 109 TT Specials built in this batch; 101 to TriCor, 2 to Mexico, 6 to Canada. In total 412 TT Specials were built in 1964. It’s interesting that by 1964, TriCor were already receiving more of the ‘West Coast T120C’, as it was known, than JoMo. The gap widened as the years progressed until the end of their production in 1967”.
