DOT 2T Factory Sports Special
One-off Roadster built from DOT factory parts to produce a truly amazing two stroke twin street scrambler.
This very special machine was built by the Secretary of the DOT Owners Club using New Old Stock (NOS) parts found at the DOT factory. The 1958 works RCA competition frame, forks, Villers 2T engine, Mancunian instrument nacelle, fuel tank and Ceriani alloy brakes/hubs all came from the factory. The frame is number 37 of maybe only 40 ever made! A comprehensive no-expense-spared (est. £9,000 spent) build project followed over a number of years, which incleded a complete engine rebuild with new crank etc. The result is a true performance machine for the road which starts easily, goes and stops like no classic roadster did in 1958. Spares are easily found for Villiers and DOTs so riding is a practical proposition and this is exactly what this bike needs. Unique. Priceless.
