Matching numbers 1E8 UK model with spoked wheels, restored to ride and enjoy.

First registered in the UK on 17/08/1979 by Deens of Beckenham, with only 5 local owners since then, this matching numbers machine was yellow until restoration in 1998. This included a new tank; very slightly dented now; clocks, handlebar controls and mudguards. Wheels were rebuilt with stainless spokes. Recorded mileage is correct since the engine rebuild, which included balanced crank, new rods, big and small end bearings, gearbox bearings, pistons and rings. It also had a new oil pump, all new seals and the crank seals have just been replaced again chasing a slight running irregularity which will be cured before she finds a new home. This is a great example of the sought after “E” model with spoked wheels, and pretty in silver although the sidepanel paint doesn’t exactly match the original tank paint.
